Science and technology are what I thought to be the most powerful energy that drives social changes. However, as I read books in economics and sociology, participated in the ISSDC, and engaged in commerce courses and clubs, I realized a huge gap between what is capable and what is feasible. It is businesses and commerce that create incentives for people to change their behaviors to embrace new technologies and explore the boundaries of human knowledge. It is also businesses and commerce that decide the entire distributing system of resources so that people benefit from the more advanced productivity and can thus act for the public good and the Earth.
